Lessons, market commentary, trade examples, community discussion and one-on-one coaching sessions are offered for educational purposes only. Nothing we publish or say is investment, financial, legal, tax or accounting advice, and nothing is a recommendation or solicitation to buy, sell or hold any security, option, cryptocurrency, currency pair or other financial instrument.
Tradury is not registered as an investment adviser or broker-dealer with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the New Jersey Bureau of Securities, FINRA or any other regulator. You are solely responsible for your own trading and investment decisions. Consult a licensed professional before acting on anything you learn here.
Trading involves substantial risk
Trading in any market can result in the loss of some or all of the money you put in, and in some cases more. Only trade with money you can afford to lose. Specific risks include:
- Stocks: prices can fall sharply on earnings, news or broad market moves, and gaps can move past a stop order.
- Options: options can expire worthless, and selling options or using spreads can create losses larger than the premium received. Options are not suitable for all investors; read the Options Clearing Corporation's Characteristics and Risks of Standardized Options before trading them.
- Cryptocurrency: crypto assets are highly volatile, are not protected by FDIC or SIPC insurance, trade around the clock, and can be lost permanently through exchange failure, hacking or lost keys.
- Forex: currency trading is typically leveraged, so small price moves can produce large losses, including losses that exceed your deposit.
- Penny stocks: low-priced and thinly traded stocks can be illiquid, heavily diluted and subject to manipulation such as pump-and-dump schemes.
- Leverage and margin: borrowing magnifies losses as well as gains and can lead to forced liquidation.
Past performance
Past performance, whether real, hypothetical or simulated, is not indicative of future results. Any trade examples, charts or results shared by Tradury or its members are illustrative, may not reflect commissions, fees, slippage or taxes, and are not typical of what any individual will achieve. Hypothetical and back-tested results have inherent limitations because they are prepared with the benefit of hindsight.
Community content
Members of the Tradury Discord may share their own opinions, trades and analysis. That content belongs to those members, is not reviewed or endorsed by Tradury, and may be wrong. Never follow a trade because someone else posted it. Tradury staff will never ask you for money to manage, for account passwords, or for private wallet keys; treat any such request as a scam.
Coaching
One-on-one coaching sessions review your process, journal and risk rules for educational purposes. A coach does not manage your account, place trades on your behalf, or guarantee any result.
Conflicts
Analysts and other people associated with Tradury may share trades they are taking or considering, including entry, exit and stop levels. This is shared for educational purposes to illustrate how a setup is identified and managed. It is impersonal, is not tailored to any member, and is not a recommendation that you take the same trade. People associated with Tradury may hold, buy or sell positions in instruments discussed in lessons, commentary or the community, and may do so before or after that discussion.
